PLEASE NOTE: This lot was sold in an online benefit auction where all proceeds went to the Whyte Museum in Banff, Alberta and there was no Buyer's Premium.; According to the artist: This piece was included in the exhibition 'Ambient Light', shown at the Edge Gallery in Calgary. I have had a lon and enduring relationship with the Whyte Museum. In 1988, a solo exhibition entitled 'Spirited Places' curated by the Whyte, travelled to multiple venues across Canada. Most recently I was involved in a residence entitled 'Responding to the Whyte' in which I explored aspects of the collection in both vaults and the home of Catharine and Peter Whyte. I am proud to be a part of this history!
